First Single Born in One Day (48) Horns Section Excitement
I want to share my musical process with you. I create the songs, write the songs, record the songs, and publish them. It’s quite a process, especially since I’m new at producing music. However, it’s fun, and this was meant to be, me writing these songs at this time and singing.
The song I’m working on now is called Born in One Day (48). This is the first single I am releasing. It’s a part of an album I want to release, Songs for Israel EP, called 48. Actually, I wanted 48 to be the song title, so this would be the title song. It has gone through many renditions, many edits, many translations over the years. I have been writing and working on this song for four years.
I’ll be excited to have it all done. It’s written, it’s composed, everything’s together. I am finalizing some beats and am going to get it mixed and mastered and out to the world very soon. But in the meantime, I want to share a little snippet of a recording that I sang regarding the horns section of this song. It was just an idea that came to me, to invite you into my songwriting process, which is quite vast, because I pull from many different parts of my life.
Why it’s so important for me to share this with you is because it’s been 25 years since the Lord called me to sing for Him back when I was attending divinity school in Rochester, New York. Ever since then, I have been pursuing life and wanting to sing for the Lord in the way that I believe He told me it would occur. It is finally coming to fruition. Your love again life should have dreams, should have the recovery of dreams. As you open your heart and receive love, may your dreams awaken within you.
