Meditation: Watch Your Words—They’re Sneaky!
In Matthew chapter 12, verse 36, Jesus says, “I say unto you that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” Since we know that your words are going to be judged, we also know that somehow, somewhere, there’s a record of your words in someone’s book, computer system, or data-base. God is keeping record, and it has your name on it. So, be careful what you say out there when you’re speaking. And I know there’s times when we have emotional outbursts. We get various emotions because that’s life, we’re human, and God gave us feelings, and we feel them. However, just be wise and be kind and be careful with every word you say.
