I have heard the voice of the Lord since I was a little girl. That’s part of my Love Again LA journey, voyage, if you will. My moving to Los Angeles was the will of God I received through meditation. I’ll share more in my upcoming book on meditation, The Meditation Model, as the days…
Reflection: Enjoying The Beauty Of The Earth He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God…
I would like to discuss an enlightening outing at Ralph’s Grocery Store. I decided to stop by the grocery store one day coming from the beach to get some goodies. I briefly talked to a man in the checkout line. A song was playing. The song was written by Bill Withers and Grover Washington, Just…
Reflection: Ask God For The Words to Speak I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it. Psalm 81:10 Concentration: Thinking About What You Have to Say Have you ever had a hard conversation where you had to think about…
I am an artist. This is what the Lord told me. “Sing, write, draw, you are the artist. Heal.” That’s what I am doing and have been doing over the years in various ways. However, I want to share my art, draw and paint more. All these gifts have been lying dormant inside me for…
Reflection: Matthew 6:26 I really love this meditation, which stems from Matthew 6:26, where Jesus says, “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, yet your Heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” Matthew 6:26 Concentration: Watch and Pray In today’s…

We reconnected over the city of New Orleans, a native New Orleanian who shares a love for the city as I have over the years. I met a Turkish man, a man from Turkey, the other day. He was visiting the United States for soccer games. We had a conversation coming from our next departure. He’s a very kind man. We talked, and he started opening up to me about faith. I don’t even really understand how we even got…
