I am an artist. This is what the Lord told me. “Sing, write, draw, you are the artist. Heal.”  That’s what I am doing and have been doing over the years in various ways. However, I want to share my art, draw and paint more. All these gifts have been lying dormant inside me for so long. There’s a reason why, and I’ll be sharing that in my artwork and in my paintings in life.

This first piece is the painting I drew for the Love Again LA logo. As I looked at the paper which had a few lines already drawn, I saw a picture of a lady in the heavens with a bow and arrow, like a Native American, and she’s aiming an arrow into the lady lying on the ground, who’s having sex with a reptile. 

This was my picture of the Garden of Eden scene with Eve and the serpent. The angel’s aim is to kill this adulterous woman. The angel is going to kill Eve with the bow and arrow. Thank God she didn’t or none of us humans would exist. But it’s the killing of adultery, of unfaithfulness, of double-mindedness, of waywardness. It’s the killing of those things that are hindering your life, that are hindering your destiny, hindering your walk with God, and hindering your romantic relationship. 

Also, because I’m mixed with Native American, meaning that my great-grandmother is a Cherokee Indian, this bow and arrow is significant. In the painting, that’s what the angel is using to point at Eve, not a gun or some other weapon of destruction, but a bow and arrow. I thought it was amazing that I pulled back from my own ancestry and heritage when I was forming this painting, which represents my vision for Love Again LA. 

That’s the compass I was led by when I drew the Love Again LA drawing. Join with me in killing the adulterous woman, while living out your destiny with truth and purpose. It’s about falling in love again and whatever has hindered you, getting rid of it, mastering it and being true.
